Kelly Almond Joins Development Staff

Kelly Kirby Almond is the Morehead-Cain Foundation's new assistant director of development. She joins the Foundation with extensive University development experience. Prior to joining the Foundation staff she served as associate director of development and director of alumni affairs at the UNC School of Dentistry; the associate director of public relations and then associate director of alumni affairs and the annual fund for the UNC School of Nursing; a development assistant for the UNC School of Pharmacy; and the assistant coordinator of clubs with the UNC General Alumni Association.

Kelly graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a bachelor of arts degree in English. As assistant director of development, Kelly assists with fundraising efforts for the Morehead-Cain Scholarship Fund and the Morehead-Cain Foundation Annual Fund, and meets regularly with Morehead-Cain constituents.
